Edificio de la Marina

Rating:

Excellent

Customs since its inception was considered one of the most important administrative institutions of the city. This building, erected in 1914 by the concessionaire Port of Havana Docks Company with a strong eclectic style, is distinguished by its watchtowers and its colonial eaves, located in the same place that long ago occupied the famous pier San Francisco, close to the Church of St. Francis of Assisi and the Lonja del Comercio.

This facility has three large docks, one of them is located since 1996 Cruise Terminal Sierra Maestra, which introduced to Cuba for the first time in the Caribbean tourist itineraries.
