Modern Havana, the most interesting places to visit are the neighborhoods of Vedado and Miramar, is the residential area of the Cuban capital. Their facades (transformed by time) tell the story of a city that was thought to be the Mecca of play and leisure almost from the start of construction in the last century, giving the viewer the old glamor of the 30s accompanied by the comings and goings of its people.
From a classic car of the 50s we take the path that leads to Miramar, the chic neighborhood of Havana, with its beautiful mansions and Fifth Avenue, the main street of the neighborhood.
Stop at the Gandhi Park, also known as the Park Jagüeyes, awesome Indian garden in the center of town.
We resumed Fifth Avenue to visit the home and studio of Mr. Fuster, renowned Cuban artist, influenced by Picasso and Gaudi, whose house is now a museum exhibiting his art.
Then we dive into the Bosque de La Habana, green lung of the city, where we make a pleasant break.
We continue with a panoramic tour of the Nuevo Vedado, the exterior of the Columbus Cemetery, world heritage by the value of their works.
Stop at the Revolution Square, a place that governs the fate of an entire country, where Fidel Castro delivered his long speeches and where the portrait of Che continues to draw attention of tourists and Cubans.
Then we entered the university district walking in the front of the steps of the University of Havana, grand neoclassical building. Across the street 23, the most visited city for its cinemas, theaters and clubs, we passed the Coppelia ice cream metropolis in Cuba, frequented by locals.
The FOCSA, the highest in Cuba, building offers La Torre, his bar-gazebo with a stunning view over Havana.
Continue along the Malecon, the emblem of the city promenade, from where you can see impressive buildings like the Plaza de las Banderas and belongs to the American Mafia Hotel Nacional de Cuba between the 30s and the 50s Its gardens may be visited (visit the hall of Fame)
