Casa de África
Africa House is a museum house where an extensive ethnographic collection of peoples and African cultures exposed. It has more than two thousand pieces divided into different collections, among which stand out the collection of slavery, Fernando Ortiz, the popular religiosity, sizes and ivories and masks.
Located in a colonial house in Old Havana institution also organizes, every year, a scientific workshop of African American social and cultural anthropology in commemoration of its founding, besides having a monthly workshop where leading researchers from black theme expose the results of their research.
